Upcycled Packaging Gingerbread House Garlands

By: Claire Armstrong from pillarboxblue.com

"Even though they look good enough to eat, unfortunately, you can't eat these gingerbread houses. The houses are actually made from upcycled cardboard packaging. Each house is a slightly different design. They painted with white paint to look like icing (just to confuse you even more). The windows of each house are cut out. So that when the garland is hung up with copper string lights the windows will be illuminated which just adds to the festive feel of this gorgeous garland."

Materials List

  • Kraft cardboard packaging
  • white paint
  • craft knife
  • Template on the blog

NotesThere are free templates of the houses on the blog to download.
