I have been using baking soda in between my rinses when I wash my hair and it really balances the pH of my scalp especially when I don't have a pH balanced shampoo. I bet if it works for my hair then it could also work for my clothes. I normally use a eucalyptus and tea tree oil mix so I'll try that too in the vinegar fabric softener.
