Materials List
- Gold spray paint
- Champagne flutes
- Masking or Painter’s tape
- 1/4" Star Hand Punch
Instructions:
-
Punch star shapes into tape. Grab some masking or painter’s tape from your local store and begin this project by punching out mini star shapes using the Fiskars® 1/4″ Star Hand Punch. This tiny hand punch has cushioned handles that are comfortable to use, and its confetti catcher holds all clippings. This is especially helpful to have since the clippings from this project will be sticky and can end up everywhere if they aren’t captured right away.
-
Place tape onto glass and spray. Place your punched tape strip around the bottom of your flutes, revealing your punched our star shapes and their placement on the glass. Tape off everything else you don’t want paint to get on, including the bottom of the glass if you want that to remain clear, and add a few light coats of gold spray paint. Let dry according to the paint instructions.
-
Fill and celebrate! Once dried, fill with some sparkling wine, holiday punch or favorite beverage for some added sparkle!
