12 Cheap and Thrifty DIY Wedding Centerpieces

Whenever I attend weddings (whether they’re family or friends), one of the first things that’s always on my mind when I walk into a reception is “What do the wedding centerpieces look like?”, immediately followed by “I wonder how I can get my hands on one of the centerpieces by the end of the night…”
I’m a sucker for centerpieces, especially DIY wedding centerpieces. Just knowing that the brides (and/or their significant others, family, and close friends) put so much time and effort into them makes me really appreciate them. I’m nowhere near ready to be married (I don’t even have a boyfriend at this point), but I doknow that when I get hitched, I’m going with DIY wedding centerpieces. All the way.
I figure that, aside from looking absolutely gorgeous, making my own wedding centerpieces will be kind of therapeutic during the wedding planning process. I’ll be able to zone out a bit, forget about coordinating the DJ and assigning seats, and just work with my hands for a while.
So, if you’re looking to put together a few beautiful DIY wedding centerpieces, I’m hoping that you’ll be able to gather a bit of inspiration from the mason jar crafts and other wedding centerpiece ideas below!
