I enjoy being able to gift unique items to my loved ones. This idea ranks up really high. Not only can I give a hand made product but this quilt can commemorate the life of the recipient.

I was aware of this type of project and I am so glad that I happened upon this link. I have a son that has participated in a lot of activities during his pre college days and I wanted to make a t-shirt quilt and had long forgot about it until now. I am pulling those t-shirts out and making this for a Christmas gift this year.
